What? LJ 5,000 Questions: Part One (1 – 20)

I can’t remember which blog I saw this on (if it was you let me know and I will give you credit) but here’s the LiveJournal 5,000 questions.  I am answering these as part of my Day Zero project. Let’s see what happens.

 Part one

1. Who are you? I am still trying to figure that out.

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you? I need lots of quiet-time; green is my favorite color; I am not dead yet.

3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing? Writing, reading, arting and crafting.

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time). I liked any class where I could read and write. I hated spelling (I am horrible at it.)

5. What is your biggest goal for this year? Finish one book so it is reading to submit for publication.

6. Where do you want to be in 5 years? Living in the mountains of Pennsylvania and writing novels for a living.

7. What stage of life are you in right now? The best, I think. It’s taken 50 years to develop some focus.

8. Are you more child-like or childish? I think I am child-like (I like to be silly) and rarely childish which I equate with pettiness.

9. What is the last thing you said out loud? Sounds good to me.

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now? Chumbawamba – Tubthumping

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes? Yes.

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same? I have a very good life (despite the way I whine) but it does have its ups and downs.

13. Does time really heal all wounds? I’m not sure as I have not run out of time but so far I would say no.

14. How do you handle a rainy day? I love rainy days. I would read.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights? Losing my luggage would be worse – I leave the lights to my husband.

16. How is your relationship with your parents? Better than it’s ever been but some things can be forgiven but not forgotten.
Will you miss them when they are gone? Yes.

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you? I suffer from hyper-vigilance every where except at home where I am most comfortable and secure.

18. What is the truest thing that you know? Every opposite to every truth is valid.

19. What did you want to be when you grew up? A writer and artist.

20. Have you ever been given a second chance? Many, many times, thank you, God. Otherwise, I’d be in serious trouble.
