Break Time

~ click image to make biggerer ~

Work is kicking my ass. My word count for NaNo is sad. The edit on my novel needs attention as do the real live people and puppy in my life.

OK, I admit it: I am an internet addict. There I said it. Let the twelve steps begin. (It’s not December yet so don’t think of that song.)

Your excellent comments and your wonderful blogs are a distraction I can not control at the moment (does that qualify as a successful completion of step one?)

I will be back on December 1st (with the exception of my traditional Thanksgiving Day Turkey.) In December, I will celebrate my five year blogiversary which is actually on November 23rd.

In the meantime, I must take care of things in my non-cyber world. I will miss all of you but I must detox.

  1. Congratulations on your fifth anniversay of your blog. That is quiet the accomplishment.

I totally understand about the blogging. It is such a distraction, but I am addicted too.

    Good luck with your writing.

  3. I understand all too well this need to unplug. As wonderful as this blogging community is there are times we have to step away so that our focus is on what is before us. I also think stepping away allows us to really appreciate the blogging community even more. I am happy that you are taking this time for yourself and your loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. XX

  4. But -- you break more often then you blog!

Actually, I could use a break but these paid posts keep piling up. I have about 9 ($115.50)that need my immediate attention.

  5. I hear you on the addictive quality of the internet. And real life takes a back seat, but really does need our attention and our energy (especially puppies!) :)

    Have a wonderful break, Nessa!

  10. Congrats on your blogiversary and hope you'll enjoy your break and relax a lot :)

I'll be taking a break myself starting tonight (after an explanatory post), so I'll feel less bad for not being able to drop by your place every day as before.

Have a lovely couple of weeks!
