  9. He's a pretty turkey, Nessa. You are very creative. For sure you have found your calling.

    That buzzard won't be running away very far, only round and round in a few circles, soon. Grab him by the head, put your feet on his ankles and pull hard.
    Have handy a tea kettle with hot water, scald him when he quits flopping. Then you can pull those pretty feathers right out easily.
    Just in case you were serious.

    Last year Palin pardoned one, you could do that with yours.

  10. Ha! Ours are safely in the freezer, and you don't want to know just how to clean a turkey butt and all the rest, either. It's a good thing we dress them out early so I can forget that part when he's browning nicely in the oven!

  11. happy thanksgiving, i am sure you will make a wonderful dinner, and don't forget, it is OK to ask your guests to help clean up, it is part of the joy of thanksgiving. the camaraderie the laughter, everything happens in the kitchen!!
