Hop, Skip and Jump

I saw the sunrise at the beach for the first day of summer Saturday morning.

I harvested rosemary and lavender on the night of the Honey/Strawberry Moon last Wednesday, hanging the stems to dry on the front porch. I put up a pot of strawberry schnapps, too. It will be ready for bottling at the beginning of October.

My small wild flower garden has a few blooms. My miniature hydrangeas are heavy with blossoms and the elephant ears have a long stalk edge with white bells.

THIRD TRY. I am seriously NOT a fan of Blogger.

I was here reading your post when my email informed me that you'd left a comment on my blog.

I will be by here in October with my aperitif glass and I willwant a sip or two of your yummy Strawberry Schnapps.

I forgot how annoying it can be sometimes.

I hope the Schnapps comes out good. Waiting is the hard part.

I'll be at your place in October with my glass...er-uh...my pitcher.
There will be a story for you at my place tomorrow.

Swampy: I'll be there with libations. I need to make more Schnapps.

Your garden sounds wonderful. I love the way gardeners mark time!

Sandy: Since I'm not much of a dedicated gardener, my garden is small but varied.

Strawberry Schnapps? I'd love to know how to make that!

Madame Wilde: I will post info about this soon. Very easy to do. It's the waiting that is hard.

Hey Ness...where'd my comment go?

Looks like you will have to make sure you have enough Strawberry schnapps for everyone in October.

All I have in my "garden" are pansies and marigolds. I have no idea what flowers Hubs put in the back.

Jenn: Blogger has been gobbling again.

Shari: We do seperate gardening, too.

Molly: Sorry I skipped you. Thanks.

Spectacular photo and loved reading about your activities for the solstice and how your garden grows.

I'll be dropping by in October as well! How about if I bring our special Boomer Diva Martini to go along with your Strawberry Schnapps?

My ex and I spent a fall on the beach and it was heavenly. As soon as we left, it all went straight to hell!!!

nonizamboni: It feels like summer now.

Beverly: We will need to have a Halloween party with lots of treats.
