Killing Time

I am killing time while our first viewers are here.

This is a butterfly I drew in November 1993: wax color pencils.

I'm a lousy photographer.

  1. Wow. You are talented. I can hardly draw a straight line. Though sometimes, in the middle of the night, when no one is watching, when I hear the wind rustle through the long leaves of the mango tree in the garden, I suspect I might like to.

  2. Ooo all pretty!
you are better than you give yourself credit for, as for the photo quality, its probably because youre trying to get the camera to focus on the image too close up - most digital cameras have a 'macro' mode which should help, that or try taking the photo from about a foot (approx 30 cm) away - that should be a goodenough distance, and then crop it later ;) :)
will upday SOOOoooon - i just have a rater bit*hy deadline to meet atm... :)

    the word thingy is redikis
    weird.

  3. Thanks, Jenn. I love to draw. One of the things I'm really looking forward to in the new house is the space to leave everything up, so I don't have to waste time setting up then cleaning up each session. I may get more done.

Gwen, I will take your advice about the photography. We'll see how I do next time. Thanks.
